| Outline | Learn hiragana and katakana. Emphasis on all four aspects of the language -- speaking, listening, reading and writing. At the end of this course, students will practice with questions of the Japanese language proficiency test N4, and of course they can also take it if they so wish. |

| Outline | Strengthening the acquired base, and taking it further with advanced grammar and idiomatic usage. The course uses real-life teaching materials, such as newspapers, magazines, newscasts, and we will discuss Japanese current events and culture. Students will deepen their knowledge of the culture, and often express their opinions. Students will be able to take the Japanese language proficiency test, N1. |
